The Ministry of Justice’s ‘Transforming Rehabilitation: A Strategy for Reform’ will change the way that offenders are managed in the community. Part of this strategy will be to open up the market for delivering services for offenders to a new range of rehabilitation providers, to include public, voluntary and private sectors at a local and national level.
A Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the Rehabilitation Programme has now been published, which alerts the market that the Ministry of Justice intends to let 21 contracts packaged into service package areas across England and Wales.
Potential service providers, local and national, wish to get involved need to register their interest before 22 August 2013. Once registered they will receive all relevant communications and be included in the Provider Network Log.
