Thank you to everyone who contributed to the recent workshops we organised on behalf of Transport for the North.
These were an opportunity to get early feedback from key environmental groups on the scoping by Atkins of the Integrated Sustainability Appraisal of the TfN Strategic Transport Plan.
Copies of the workshop materials are now available on our website http://bit.ly/2lPHBIo including a summary of the ISA scoping. Copies of the full draft ISA scoping report are available on request.
We are writing up a summary of the feedback received at the workshops for TfN. This will be added to the full set of our reports from this process to be published by TfN later this year.
The consultation on the proposed ISA scoping runs until 6 March.
Have your say on the proposed Sustainability Appraisal
The draft scoping report from Atkins sets out 16 key sustainability objectives, and proposes questions to be used to test how the Strategic Transport Plan matches up.
We are encouraging groups and individuals with an interest in sustainability to respond with your views on the ISA scope, either through us or direct to TfN.
You can:
- record your comments on the proposed ISA objectives & questions in our online survey http://bit.ly/2lkh1nj
- email comments to us for inclusion in our report to TfN. (bridget.fox@bettertransport.org.uk)
We also welcome any wider questions or comments you may have.
Thank you again to everyone who has taken the time and trouble to contribute to this process.
